   The upper bridge has the word "WEINSTEIN’S" — the paint has flaked off to reveal the rust beneath.

   Weinstein’s was a popular low-cost department store in San Francisco in the 1950s. Here’s a discussion about the store and its history.

   The store was at 1041 Market Street. This brige extends from the rear of the store, across an alleyway, to another building.

   The opposite side of this bridge must be more exposed to the elements, because the words are much harder to make out.
